What the free check covers
- Energy performance
- Current and potential EPC rating, floor area, certificate date and whether it is still valid.
- Property details
- Property type, built form, habitable rooms and construction period as recorded by the energy assessor.
- Flood and planning designations
- Environment Agency flood zones, conservation areas, listed status, Article 4 directions and Green Belt.
- Recorded crime nearby
- Crimes recorded by the police on the surrounding streets over the last year, compared with England.
- Recorded sale history
- Sales recorded for the address by HM Land Registry since 1995.
Each finding says where it came from and what it doesn’t tell you. Where a check cannot be completed we say so. We never report a failed lookup as a clean result.
